ABOUT US
We are a licensed cabinetmaker with over 20 years of hands-on experience serving Madison, WI and the surrounding Dane County area. Our team has completed residential and commercial cabinetry projects across the region, working on everything from custom kitchens and bathroom vanities to office casework, dental operatories, and law firm millwork. Unlike contractors who treat cabinetry as a side service, we build every cabinet ourselves in our own Madison workshop and install it with our own crew, never subcontracting either step. That control is what lets us build to a room's actual dimensions rather than shimming stock sizes into place, which matters in a city where much of the housing stock predates 1940 and almost nothing runs plumb or level. The result is precisely fitted, code-compliant cabinetry designed to hold up through Wisconsin's dry heating seasons and humid summers, on everyday residential projects and demanding commercial work alike.
OUR STORY
Wisconsin is a hardwood state. Northern hard maple, red oak, cherry, and walnut come out of Upper Midwest forests within a few hours' drive, and that access shaped how this shop was built. We buy rough lumber, mill it ourselves, and control moisture content from the stack to the finished door, which is a different business than ordering boxes from a catalog supplier and putting a local name on them.
Twenty years in, that has made us the shop other trades call when a project has a problem. A remodeler with a wall that runs three-quarters of an inch out over eight feet. A dental practice that needs sterilization casework laid out around equipment that hasn't shipped yet. A firm that wants quartersawn oak millwork matched across four rooms. We keep our own crew for installation because the people who milled the stock should be the ones fitting it, and we have never found a reason to hand that step to someone else.
